This is a deep dive into the current state of research of Chinese Herbal Medicine and the physiologic and cellular changes that occur when using these medications. The possibility for nerd jokes is high. We will examine how much research there is into this field and the complexities that can occur when studying a compound with multiple active ingredients in a system with a lot of moving parts.
