Dr. Ann Chapman obtained her DVM from the Louisiana State University in 2001. She completed a three year residency in Equine Internal Medicine in 2005 at Louisiana State University and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Large Animal) in 2006. She also received a MS in Veterinary Clinical Sciences in 2006 from Louisiana State University. Upon completion of her residency, she joined the equine faculty at Louisiana State University and currently serves as an Associate Professor and Equine Medicine Service Chief in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences. Her research interests are in the areas of equine infectious disease, equine asthma and endocrinology. She has a special clinical interest in equine cardiology and foalhood diseases.
